Mindrolling Retreat 2012 with
HE Mindrolling Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche

A Warm Welcome to Mindrolling

The second Mindrolling retreat in India began on the 22nd of January 2012 with almost half of the participants returning from the first retreat held in 2011. Over a hundred people from all over the world once more gathered at the Mindrolling Monastery for an intensive study and practice retreat.

Ani Tsultrim Dechen guides the participants through the residence of Kyabje Mindrolling Trichen.

It began with Jetsun Khandro Rinpoche, Sangyum Kushog and Jetsün Dechen Paldrön, along with the senior monks and managers of Mindrolling, senior nuns of Samten Tse and the staff members, greeting the participants at a tea hosted by Rinpoche at Künzang Phodrang, the residence of Kyabje Mindrolling Trichen.

Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche and Jetsün Dechen Paldrön greet the participants as they arrive at the residence.

The retreatants offered traditional khatag offerings to the Kudung of Kyabje Rinpoche and were met by Sangyum Kushog who greeted them on behalf of Mindrolling Monastery and the senior managers of the monastery offered welcome gifts to all the retreatants.

The participants mingle in the garden of the residence.

Tea and cakes are served in the garden of the residence.

The participants greet Lama Tenkyab, Lama Künga Gyatso and Lama Phuntsok at the tea.

 

Tea and coffee are enjoyed in the garden.

The nuns of Samten Tse serve tea and coffee.

Participants enjoy the many cakes and treats offered at the tea.

Rinpoche introduces Ani Chönyid Chödrön, Zuzana Dankova and Ani Drolma at the tea.

Sangyum Kushog and the senior monks present welcome gifts to each participant.
